Republican claims that GOP was locked out of the process… “we want to be part of the solution.” Democrat replies, “You quoted economists who supported your plan for the past eight years and you see where we are now…”

Dem continues: “You had three tax cuts that you didn’t pay for….”

When you reduce revenue to the government (although history shows that tax cuts actually result in higher revenues due to increased productivity in the private sector), the proper response should be to cut the cost of government, not look for other revenue to replace that “lost” from tax cuts!

Democrats are “hard-wired” to grow government and increase the people’s reliance on it. That is why Democrats cannot be reasoned with… they must be defeated and removed from positions of authority. Otherwise, this country is doomed to join the Roman Empire, the Soviet Union and others on the scrapheap of history.

If private ownership, entrepreneurship and free enterprise are no longer cherished characteristics of our country to be jealously guarded and defended at all costs, then any form of government interference is plausible.

Using Kevin Perry’s (Exec Director of the Georgia Beverage Association) logic, it is perfectly all right to expand a “progressive” government program to achieve a societal goal to which we are “truly committed.”

For example, thousands of children are born to unwed, teenage black girls every year, despite the fact that the abortion rate for black women is nearly three times the rate of white women. These children and their mothers often find themselves on public welfare. The cost to society is measured in the billions of dollars, not to mention the cost to the black culture in terms of the damage to the traditional family.

If we are truly committed to reducing the number of children born to unqualified black mothers, we need to institute and continue to expand progressive government programs…. like forced, government-paid abortion for black teenage girls; mandatory tubal ligation for a second and subsequent unwed pregnancy; mandatory DNA testing to establish fatherhood and prison for black men who fail to support their children; mandatory vasectomies for repeat offenders; and the removal of children from mothers on public assistance.

After all, freedom is such an outdated concept….

If we are truly committed to reducing the amount of waste we send to landfills and increasing the amount of recycling in Georgia, Perry said, we need to continue expanding progressive recycling programs like Gwinnett’s across the state.

Although it isn’t a stretch to conclude the same about Barack, considering the few statements of actual policy that he has espoused this campaign season.

In 1850, Frederic Bastiat wrote a pamphlet describing the fallacies of the socialist system of government that was developing in France at that time. Compare this passage from The Law to recent comments by Michelle Obama:

Bastiat:

“The war against illegal plunder has been fought since the beginning of the world. But how is… legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish this law without delay … If such a law is not abolished immediately it will spread, multiply and develop into a system.”

Now, Michelle:

“The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”

Obama’s philosophy of government is not new– it was identified not only by Bastiat but succinctly described in 1875 as

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs…”

The person who popularized that phrase? None other than Karl Marx, the “father of communism.”

I highly recommend that you read The Law by Bastiat. You will be amazed at how accurately he described, in 1850, a system of government that is being espoused by Democrats in America today. You can find the full text here.
