Let Me Tell You About Saxby
A reader at MichelleMalkin.com asks, “Now that Saxby Chambliss has been reelected (to a second term as U.S. Senator from Georgia), will he stab us in the back?”
For an answer, just look at his record. On some of the bigger issues of his first term– illegal immigration, domestic drilling, the banking bailout and, probably, the auto industry bailout as well– Saxby toed the party line.
The Democrat party line, that is. Chambliss is a political game-player; an appeaser; a compromiser. Do not count on him to uphold conservative values of any consequence. As one of his constituents, I no longer do.
