Obama: A Heartbeat Away from Murder

obama-punishment In previous articles, I have highlighted Barack Obama’s opposition to an Illinois law that would protect infants who were born alive following a botched abortion. Obama believes that a woman should be allowed to complete an effort to abort an unwanted pregnancy, even if it means killing or abandoning until death a viable infant outside of the womb.

It struck me that, if we as a nation condone the killing of “born alive aborted” babies, we are baby’s breath away from “aborting” a full-term infant after birth. The “logic” (or insanity) is the same.

Under Obama’s policy, it no longer matters if the infant to be aborted is inside the womb or outside. All that matters is the mother “chooses” to kill the baby.

If a woman can reconfirm or “re-choose” to kill a baby after its live birth (albeit during an abortion attempt), it is an easy argument to say that she can make her initial choice to “abort” a baby after its live birth.

In most civilized societies, the intentional killing of a living human being (other than a state-sanctioned execution) is considered murder. However, if you ask the man who could be our next President, such an act would simply be the logical extension of a woman’s “choice” to avoid being, as Obama put it, “punished with a baby.”

If It Was Up to Obama, This Woman Would be Dead

But because she is not, Gianna Jessen has the power to end Barack Obama’s Presidential bid, simply because she lives. View the video, read this article and then check out her web site.

If it was up to the abominable Obama, the to-be-aborted little baby, Gianna Jessen, would have been turned into worm dirt 31 years ago. Thankfully, Mr. Change and Mr. Hope wasn’t around back then to lay his liberal legislative death-dealing pen to Ms. Jessen’s fate—and the world is a better place for it.

So, who is Gianna Jessen?

Barack Obama’s Actions and Shifting Claims on the Protection of Born-Alive Aborted Infants

The National Right to Life Committee has published a white paper regarding Barack Obama’s record on abortion and, specifically, his position on the issue of “born-alive aborted” infants– babies who survive a botched abortion attempt only to be killed or abandoned until death outside of the womb.

Senator Barack Obama and his campaign staff have made many conflicting claims in an attempt to “explain” his opposition in 2001, 2002, and 2003, while an Illinois state senator, to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, legislation to provide legal protection for babies who are born alive during abortions. The language of the Illinois bills was very similar to the language of the federal Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (BAIPA), which was first introduced in Congress in 2000 and enacted into law in 2002. This document provides short rebuttals to a number of the often-shifting Obama claims. For much more extensive documentation on the Obama record on this issue, see http://www.nrlc.org/ObamaBAIPA/index.html

The bottom line is that Obama opposed legislative efforts to protect live, viable newborns. Although he originally denied adopting this position for years, it dovetails perfectly with his comment earlier this year:

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” [Obama] said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”
