We Must Protect Ourselves
In 2005, it was determined that Celso Campo-Duartes was in the country illegally after he was arrested for running down Dacula resident Aubrey Sosebee as the 83-year-old man was taking the mail from his mailbox. Campo-Duartes also left the scene of the accident, a fairly common act by illegal aliens. He had no insurance and a fraudulent tag on his truck.
Campo-Duartes, who was employed as a plumber, spent just over two years awaiting trial in jail, then was allowed to plead to lesser charges and was released immediately on “time served.” A condition of his release was that he “voluntarily” deport himself, but Campos-Duartes is back in jail today, having been arrested—for at least the third time since his incarceration—for driving without a license and disorderly conduct.

Dear Mr. President: It`s Just an Oil Leak
President Obama, last night you proposed that the nation embark on a new energy initiative, a bold move from fossil fuels to wind, solar and such. You suggested more government regulation including your favorite answer to a crisis, the formation of a commission. You hinted at cap and trade, the Holy Grail of the left.

Ariz. Governor Signs Immigration Enforcement Bill
Arizona, a state that knows better than any about the negative impact of illegal immigration, now has the toughest law in the nation. President Obama used the bill’s signing to pimp amnesty at the national level, calling the new law “irresponsibility.”
"We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act," Brewer said after signing the law. "But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation."

Obama Round Two: Amnesty for Illegal Aliens
If you have not done so already, go ahead and hook up with your local Tea Party group. Find a national anti-amnesty group and subscribe to their newsletter. Join their Facebook group; “follow” them on Twitter.
You don’t have to do anything just yet. The key is to get connected to the communication network so that you know when it is time to act.
Then, when you are asked to do something, do it. Show up at a rally; send a letter to the editor; and, most importantly, vote.
It is no surprise that, after passing health care "reform," President Obama plans to move on to his next big domestic initiative: granting citizenship to more than 12 million illegal immigrants. For decades, Beltway and business elites have championed a policy of open borders and unlimited Third World immigration. Amnesty is simply its logical culmination: the triumph of political and corporate interests over patriotism.

TalkGwinnett: Obama to Talk to Your Child on Tuesday
I am okay with this as long as his first words are, “Okay, kids; so I screwed up….”
On Tuesday, September 8 at 12 noon, President Barack Obama will speak to the nation’s government school children; purportedly on responsibility, commitment and the value of a good education. The speech will be broadcast from the White House web site. The Department of Education is encouraging school principals to participate in the event.
